According to the Constitution of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the people are the source of omnipotence. And one of the basic needs of these people is education. Primary education is the basis of all education. At the field level, the basic rights of all children are the bearers of primary education. Upazila Education Office. Upazila Education Office is one of the service providers of the Department of Primary Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Upazila Education Office is always striving to improve the quality of primary education at the field level. Academic work The quality of lessons is improved by providing feedback in the light of school visits. To provide salary allowances to all subordinate officers, teachers and employees, to conduct final examinations, to organize various trainings and seminars, to distribute books, to provide stipends, to organize sports and cultural competitions including Bangabandhu and Bangamata Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament.
 Shahjadpur upazila has 13 unions and one municipality.
